Mrirt beige mottled Berber rug, 100% wool, hand-woven by our Moroccan craftsmen.

Originating from the town of Mrirt in the Moroccan Middle Atlas, Mrirt rugs are exceptionally soft and thick, made from particularly soft wool. They are hand-woven using ancestral methods, then washed and brushed several times, giving them a particularly soft, fur-like feel.

All our rugs are unique, hand-woven pieces. Like all Moroccan rugs, they have bangs on one side only: the women who weave these exceptional pieces make knots when they start weaving, and bangs on the side where they stop.

All e-souk carpets will be on sale until Tuesday April 23rd at 11:59pm. They will leave Marrakech on Thursday April 25. They will be shipped back to you, wherever you live, as soon as they arrive in Paris. You'll be able to enjoy your rugs in your living room, dining room, bedroom... from May 6th!

Care instructions:

Your rug may lose pile for two weeks after purchase. This is quite normal, as the wool threads get caught during weaving.

Regular maintenance with a dry deck brush, rubbing gently to remove dust and dirt.

Don't hesitate to turn it over and shake it regularly.
In the event of a stain, clean immediately with water and Marseille soap.
You can also take it to your dry cleaner, making sure he or she has a subcontractor who specializes in carpet cleaning.
